Dreaming about the past is only for tourists. It's all about looking good and looking forward, being proud of who you are and open to what's around you. Techno und House, Drum'n'Bass, Garage, Hiphop, Dub... Die Musik klingt nach urbanem Dancefloor, wie man ihn aus den europäischen Metropolen kenn - ursprünglich aber kommen die Musiker, die heute in London leben, aus Marokko. MoMo steht für 'Music of Maroccan Origin', ihr 'Club-Sound der Mauren' ist der Sound der Vorstadtjugend von Tanger, Agadir oder Casablanca, ist aber auch der Groove jener 2nd-Generation Immigrants, die jetzt in London aufwachsen.

'Dar Music' nennen die Musiker von MoMo ihren Musikstil: Dar ist arabisch und bedeutet Haus. Die Musik ist modern und nordafrikanisch zugleich, ohne Kompromisse und ohne daraus einen Widerspruch zu konstruieren. Diese Band zählt nicht zufällig eine Reihe von illustren Persönlichkeiten aus der Musikindustrie zu ihren Fans, darunter Madonna, George Michael, Robert Plank und Björk.
