I’ve just browsed through some nice music on a Sunday evening in April… It resulted in a mix between cool jazzy, Latin, Balkan and Bollywood tunes, I hope. One of my all-time favourites is the track I Love My Baby by the United Future Organization, here in a Norman Cook & Ashley Slater remix. Let us pay our last respects to Eartha Kitt († 25.12.2008), Blossom Dearie († 07.02.2009), Ali Akbar Khan († 19.06.2009), Michael Jackson († 25.06.2009), Margot Ebert († 26.06.2009), Patrick Swayze († 14.09.2009), Eduard Zimmermann († 19.09.2009) and Mercedes Sosa († 04.10.2009). Rest in peace! In the end of 2008, the Berlin radio station radiomultikulti from the public broadcaster RBB was closed. Instead of this programme, the Cologne station Funkhaus Europa is transmitted in Berlin. But, some of the former crew of radiomultikulti has started the internet spin-off “Multicult”, Version 2.0.
