On a Sunday night in May I listened to some new (mostly) Dubstep stuff. In the following some information about this. Last week, Balkan Beat Box were again in Berlin to present their third album Blue Eyed Black Boy. My first impression was that the predecessors had more catchy tracks. Anyway, I like their fusion of different cultures and music styles because it represents the more innovative approach of Balkan music in my opinion. Bye bye for now, Pathaan & Nerm

Last weekend, the very last shows of Electro East by DJ Nerm (Shiva Soundsystem) and DJ Pathaan‘s Musical Rickshaw were broadcasted on the British radio station BBC Asian Network. Nerm celebrated 109 tracks in the mix from four years of Electro East within two hours: a small review on Drum’n’Bass, Electro Breaks & Dubstep from the Alternative Underground. Also, Pathaan brought beautiful classics between Global Beats, Eclectic Grooves & Asian Chill. Both have always supported artists from the Global and Asian electronic scene in their shows.
